wonder woman standing

It took a really long time for us to get a big screen take on Diana Prince aka Wonder Woman. And with the newly appointed DCU taking over, we wondered what would happen to our beloved goddess from Themyscira.

James Gunn and Peter Safran are reinventing the DC universe for Warner Bros. and while we’ve seen Gunn’s take on DC with Peacemaker and The Suicide Squad, his version of Superman is kicking things off for the DCU. One question remains for fans though: When are we going to see Diana again? Who will play our Wonder Woman?

dylan o'brien and james sweeney in twinless

Often the gimmick of an actor playing twins can become all that is discussed with a film. What Twinless does is give Dylan O’Brien the freedom to play twins Rocky and Roman without making that all the film itself is about.

Star James Sweeney also wrote and directed the film and knowing this gives you a lot of insight into how he works as a creative. Dennis (Sweeney) meets Roman at a support group for people who have lost one of their twins. The group is meant to help each other cope with losing their siblings but Dennis and Roman strike up an unlikely friendship together.

Woman explains she was forced to enable autopay at Verizon(l) Verizon logo on building(r)

A woman set up autopay with Verizon only to realize she had been overcharged for more than five months. In a video with over 735,000 views, TikTok user @yummiiyomi filmed a conversation between herself and a Verizon employee. In the viral clip, she confronts the employee about autopay continuing to charge her for hotspot services even after she attempted to cancel them.

The Verizon employee essentially blames @yummiiyomi for the overpayment. “That’s why I said if it’s not what it’s supposed to be, come back and see me next month,” he tells her. The TikTok user then asks whether it’s her fault as the consumer that she was overcharged for five months. She clarifies that she explicitly declined additional hotspot charges on her Verizon bill. Nick Forst on a carpet

UPDATE: It has been made clear to me that my original piece was coming across not as intended. I don’t condone doing this show and will not be supporting it. But if these adults are going to take this money that benefits Rowling, my hope is that the least they can do is use it to try and fight back against what she is doing with her proceeds. Again, I don’t condone what they’re doing by working on this show and I apologize for any misunderstanding the original piece caused.

Original article is as follows:

During the press junket for The Life of Chuck, I spoke with the entire cast and creatives behind the Stephen King adaptation. And it was beautiful to talk with everyone about their journey through Chuck and getting to work on this Mike Flanagan film.

tom felton and his hairline at the tonys

It is a point of privilege to act as if what J.K. Rowling says and does with her money doesn’t affect you when you’re working on a project of hers. That’s what Tom Felton has and he used it while on the red carpet for the Tony Awards.

Felton is gearing up to take to Broadway in Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. He’s reprising his role as Draco Malfoy in the production and as part of the promotion, he was asked to present an award at this year’s Tony Awards. You know, Broadway’s biggest night where non-binary performers took home the Tony as well as Jak Malone using his speech to advocate for trans rights? That Tony Awards!

dakota johnson walking in the street

The art of the romantic comedy has been lost in recent years. We clearly want it back, we have seen recent success stories in the genre, and yet Materialists feels like a warm blanket consuming all us rom-com lovers.

The Celine Song film throws us into the romantic world of Manhattan. Allusive, expensive, and yet all consuming, the city is just as much part of Materialists as is John (Chris Evans), Harry (Pedro Pascal), and Lucy (Dakota Johnson). Lucy is a match maker who puts on an air of someone who has her life together but through Song’s brilliant script, we see just how flawed and messy Lucy really is.
